
Leclerc Dominates the British Grand Prix

As the 52-lap race continued at the Silverstone Circuit, Ferrari stuck to a solid race strategy despite the various tactics used by their rivals at different stages of the Grand Prix. Ferrari dominated the opening stages of the British Grand Prix with their driver Leclerc maintaining excellent pace on track as well as efficiently managing tyre degradation. Effective pit-stop strategy used by Ferrari enabled the team to keep Leclerc ahead of the rival Mercedes drivers.
Antonelli was the only threat to Leclerc in terms of close racing, having displayed excellent pace through the second stint. Mercedes attempted an undercut strategy to gain any form of advantage, but Ferrari ensured that they made excellent use of their in-lap timing, which meant that Leclerc allowing him to retain track position after the pit stop. Hamilton drove a very safe race from third place behind the Ferrari duo.
During the middle stage of the race, some teams started dividing their tactics, with various drivers changing their tyres due to changing conditions at the Silverstone Circuit. Yet, Ferrari maintained the pace of the race and performed pit stops successfully, keeping total control of the race from the leading position. In the last part of this stage, tension grew as Antonelli started chasing Leclerc and preparing for a confrontation for the lead.
