
Rosalía is ending the year on a great note. LUX- the fourth studio album by Spanish Pop Star is now certified gold in France. The album was released on 7 November 2025 by Columbia Records. It has sold 50,000 units in the country, taking the honour.
The orchestral pop album, upon its release, was also crowned as Spotify’s ‘Most streamed’ in a day by a female Spanish artist, with 42.1 million streams. Rosalía’s fans from all across the world have congratulated the ‘Berghain’ hitmaker for this achievement, posting praises and acclamations.
About the Album- Features and Themes

The title of the album translates to light in Latin. Since LUX is a multilingual saga, Rosalía personally took part in its production, collaborating with language professionals and experts. The album explores the themes of spirituality, feminine mystique, transformation, and transcendence in its lyrical form. LUX features many guest appearances, including Icelandic singer-songwriter Björk, Portuguese fado singer Carminho, Spanish singer Sílvia Pérez Cruz, and many more.
Noah Goldstein and Popular American Musician Pharrell Williams were producers, while Rosalía was the executive producer. Critics praised the album for its excellent production, mesmerizing vocals, and genre-defying experiments. LUX is more than simply a collection of songs; it embodies Rosalía’s artistic ambition and spiritual journey.
Similarly, ‘Diet Pepsi’ by American Singer and Social media personality, Addison Rae, has also been certified gold in France. The song was released in August 2024 as a part of the lead single from the singer’s debut 2025 album – ‘Addison’. Its catchy tune became viral on many social media platforms, especially TikTok, and also debuted on many streaming charts.
About Rosalía – Life and Career

Rosalia Vila Tobella, famously known as Rosalía, is a Spanish Singer and Songwriter. She was born on 25 September 1992 and made her official debut with the studio album ‘Los Ángeles’ (The Angels), released in February 2017. Catalan music producer and composer Raül Refree co-produced it. The album earned her significant fame in Spain and a Latin Grammy nomination as a ‘Best New Artist’.
Rosalía gained international recognition with her 2018 studio album El mal querer (The Bad Loving). It is certified as triple platinum in Spain. After winning two Grammy Awards and 11 Latin Grammys, she ranks among the most successful and influential Spanish singers of all time.
