British singer Olivia Dean, who is gearing up for her upcoming second concert tour, has publicly called out major ticketing platforms such as Live Nation, Ticketmaster, and AEG. The “The Man I Need” star, whose 2026 tour recently went on sale, spoke against these companies on Friday via her Instagram story.
She raised concerns over the sharply rising ticket resale prices. Olivia’s The Art of Loving live tour has quickly become one of the most anticipated events of 2026, with several arenas already sold out. As a rising artist breaking multiple streaming records with her studio album, she has also secured her first top-five entry on the Billboard 200.
About the Ticket Reselling Prices and the Response

On Friday, 21 November, the singer posted an Instagram story condemning well-known ticket sales and distribution companies like Ticketmaster, Live Nation, and AEG Presents. In her message, she expressed her disappointment with the excessively inflated resale prices. While her original concert tickets ranged from $50 to $180, many of these were being resold on the same platforms for as high as $793 to $803. She warned her fans about potential scams and assured them that her team was actively looking into the matter.
She further tagged the platforms directly, firmly expressing her disapproval of the prices at which they were allowing the tickets to be resold. Olivia emphasised that live music should remain affordable and accessible, stressing the need for new methods to ensure fair ticket distribution. Following her statement, Ticketmaster stepped forward and agreed to cap Olivia Dean’s resale prices at face value on their site, supporting the artist’s right to control the terms of her ticket sales.
Olivia has set a strong example by holding major entertainment platforms accountable for overpriced tickets, an issue that has been prevalent for years. Fans have applauded her efforts in raising the concern and contributing to resolving it. With this development, many hope that more artists will follow her lead.
