Heer Express is an upcoming family drama, which introduces new faces on the screen, Divita Juneja as Heer Wallia, and Prit Kamani as Ronny. At it’s core, the story revolves around Heer, an aspiring chef from Punjab, who moves to the United Kingdom in order to achieve her dreams, and is mentored by Ashutosh Rana. Moreover, it is directed by Umesh Shukla, known for movies like OMG – Oh My God! (2012), All Is Well (2015), 102 Not Out (2018), and Aankh Micholi (2023).
Furthermore, the movie is presented by Tulip Entertainment, and Merry Go Round Studios, and is co-produced by Umesh Shukla, Mohit Chhabra, Ashish Wagh, Sampada Wagh, and Sanjay Grover. With all elements in place, it is set to release in cinemas on August 8, 2025.

The trailer was launched on July 15, 2025. It promises a fun ride through a wholesome family-entertainer.
Interestingly, Gulshan Grover, who is known for his villainous roles, takes a dramatic shift in this movie. He is a cheerful dhaba owner. This time, his is a positive character that evokes laughter and tears.
Meanwhile, taking to Instagram to announce the trailer release, Zee Music Company wrote:
“Heer, and her team welcome you aboard Heer Express. The trailer is now live. Hop on. Lijiye Chatpate Emotions Ka Swaad, Parivar Ke Saath! This #SaafSuthariParivarikFilm – #HeerExpress releasing in cinemas on 8th August.”
Apart from her ambition to be the best cook, Heer is also seen riding on a horse.
Since then, fans have started pouring in love. One of them wrote: “Trailer ne dil jeet liya, ab film ka intezaar aur bhi mushkil ho gaya!” (Trailer has won hearts, now waiting for the film is even more difficult).
Another wrote: “So excited to watch the movie.”
