Both Episodes 7 and 8 delivered traumatic and unexpected twists that left viewers in shock. The killer, who had long evaded capture, now seems closer than ever. After obtaining a specimen and evidence against Seok Man, Kang Tae kept his findings secret until he could verify the facts. Seok Man had already drawn suspicion because of his limp and his job at the garage.As a young man, Seok Man quietly liked Kang Sun. However, Gi Beom also loved her and eventually proposed to her. Heartbroken, Seok Man distanced himself from them.
Later, Kang Tae saw Seok Man with Kang Sun and connected him to the mounting evidence. He arrested him. Kang Tae’s suspicions grew because of Seok Man’s unusual devotion to his sisters and the sudden disappearance of his polio-related limp when one of them was about to fall.

With all the evidence pointing to Seok Man, authorities released Gi Beom. However, before he could start a new life, his health deteriorated. Another murder happens, but the killer is none other than Gi Beom’s brother, Gi Hwan. In the present, Gi Hwan uses his fake name, Lee, but seems unaffected by what he did.
