NEW DELHI, March 25, 2026 — The Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi will host the 7th edition of the Namaste Thailand Festival from March 27–29, 2026, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and valued partners. The annual festival continues to celebrate Thailand’s culture, creativity and people, reflecting the growing Thai-Indian partnership.

Since its inception in 2017, the festival has evolved in tandem with the strengthening ties between the two countries, marked by a significant rise in Indian visitors to Thailand. Notably, the 2026 edition will be held at the Embassy grounds under the theme “Creative Life & Creative Heartbeat,” highlighting Thailand’s unique ability to seamlessly blend tradition, innovation and sustainability in everyday life.
At the heart of this year’s concept is the Mini Thai Pavilion, a modular, nature-inspired space that reflects Thailand’s creative approach to design and lifestyle. Adaptable to tropical environments and closely connected to nature, the pavilion offers visitors an inspiring glimpse into how Thai creativity translates into modern, sustainable living.
In addition, the festival will also feature Thai Business Talks, bringing together leading Thai investors in India, including representatives from SCG and GPSC. These sessions will explore business journeys and emerging opportunities in India. Meanwhile, entrepreneur Mark II Inhaler, owner of Poy-Sian, will share insights into how a traditional Thai herbal product gained popularity among Indian consumers, along with perspectives on its plans for global expansion.
Furthermore, visitors can engage with immersive installations such as “Tung Sanea” (Field of Love), a garden experience designed with mirrors and vibrant floral elements to create a reflective and interactive space. The festival will also highlight Thailand’s creative industries, featuring fashion and wellness brands including Mae Teeta, Piyasila and Na Ha Thai, showcasing sustainability and craftsmanship through contemporary design.

Authentic Thai cuisine remains a key highlight, with leading restaurants including Nara Thai, Spicy Rika and Royal Soi Thai offering curated culinary experiences that reinterpret traditional flavors.
Cultural performances will include Khon, the traditional masked dance-drama, alongside Thai umbrella dance and contemporary interpretations such as the Thai Way of Happiness and Tread-Teng dance. Interactive workshops, including indigo dyeing, Thai umbrella painting, and AI-powered Muay Thai and foodie avatars, will further enhance visitor engagement.
Additionally, special highlights include Chef’s Table evenings on March 28–29, hosted by the Ambassador of Thailand to India, featuring curated dining experiences prepared by chefs from BANGKOK by Impressario Handmade Restaurants. The program will also include a cooking competition and performances by the Sun Der Band from Kalasin, blending traditional Isan folk music with classical influences. Finally, as part of the closing events, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a lucky draw, with prizes including round-trip tickets between Bangkok and India, luxury stays and wellness experiences in Thailand.
Ultimately, Namaste Thailand 2026 stands as a compelling showcase of Thailand’s creative energy, where heritage and innovation converge in meaningful ways. The Royal Thai Embassy warmly welcomes audiences to experience a distinctive celebration that highlights Thailand’s identity and its deep-rooted connections with India.
