Popular actors Kim Woo Bin (36) and Shin Min Ah (41) have finally confirmed their marriage. Their agency, AM Entertainment, released the news, revealing that the actors have “promised to become lifelong partners, building on the deep trust they’ve developed over their long relationship.” The couple will get married on December 20 at the Shilla hotel in Seoul. The wedding will be a private affair, with only family and close friends in attendance.
The actor shared a handwritten letter in his official fan cafe announcing their marriage. In the translated version of the letter, he said, “Today, I wanted to be the first to share this news with all of you, our beloved fans, who have always given me endless love and support despite my shortcomings. Yes, I am getting married. After a long time together, my partner and I have decided to build a family and walk this path together. We would be grateful if you could support us so that our journey ahead becomes even warmer.”

Kim Woo Bin’s and Shin Min Ah’s relationship has been a symbol of longevity within the industry. They first met during an endorsement and continued to keep in touch with each other. It did not take long for the rumours to spread, and their agency released a statement officially confirming their relationship in 2015. They have mostly kept their relationship private, but fans often see them travelling abroad and spending time with each other.
Kim began his career as a runway model and became well-known for his roles in School 2013 and The Heirs. His role as Choi Young Do in The Heirs brought him recognition both in Korea and internationally. In 2017, he took a break to focus on his health after being diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer, but later returned on screen in the popular drama Our Blues, which is the only show he and Min Ah have appeared in together. Shin Min Ah also started her journey as a model. She is popular for her roles in My Girlfriend is a Gumiho and Hometown Cha Cha Cha.
Their agency confirmed that both actors will continue working actively and “do their best to repay the love they have received.” Shin Min Ah will appear in The Remarried Empress, while Kim Woo Bin recently starred in Genie: Make a Wish, which was among the top five non-English shows on Netflix globally.
