This year, the iconic Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade was extra special, not because of the praiseworthy giant balloons or the marching bands, but because of the stunning performances by the global stars. One such example includes the beloved voices of the ‘golden’ trio – the HUNTR/X, from the musical-action animated saga, Kpop Demon Hunters.
Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami made their debut in the 99th Thanksgiving Annual tradition with their top hit, ‘Golden’ live performance. Their appearance made the parade extra special for the audience who witnessed the Huntrix’s ‘real life stage’ in New York. Both Demon hunters and Huntrix fans know what they should be thankful for this year.
About the Huntrix Live Performance

With the vibrant stage set, there enter the three stars, Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami. They entered with an interesting ode to their alter selves- Rumi, Mira, and Zoey. They dazzled the audience, or maybe on their secret mission to build the Honmoon to fight away the demons. Their ensemble of black cozy suits has playful twists with a purple headwear, two framing hair pieces, and a pair of fuzzy earmuffs. This fit immediately reminds the audience of the beloved fictional characters and their styles. There’s also a Derpy Tiger balloon to bring the cinematic world to the parade.
If it’s not enough, there are also talented singers. The trio recreates the iconic Huntrix performance from the movie on the streets of New York. The magic felt too real as the audience vibed to the energy of the song. If you don’t know the song, Golden had made a huge wave. It has the track of reaching number one on Billboard’s Global 200 and achieving several Grammy nominations, including Song of the Year.

Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans directed the K-pop Demon Hunters, and Sony Pictures Animation produced it. It was released in June this year on Netflix, which was well praised for its story, music, and voice acting. It quickly became the most-watched series on the platform, suppressing several top-ranking films.
