With BLACKPINK’s new album Deadline just around the corner, fans are feeling extremely excited as the tracklist has been unveiled. The announcement was made through BLACKPINK’s official Instagram page on February 5, 2026. The post showcased a dark and intense desert with shimmery sand. The vibe of the poster matched well with the concept images released in late January.

Rosé’s Insights, Concepts, Themes and Visuals of the Album
Recently, Rosé appeared on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast with host Alex Cooper and gave fans some insight into the album:
“It’s an album that we’ve all kind of obviously come back to after that year of exploring and all being our individual selves… I think it was really interesting to come back and see what was created after that. I really like all the songs on there.”
The album features a minimalist black and white, high-fashion concept. The themes of the album are expected to showcase an intense, bold, and sophisticated side. The minimal yet intense visuals echo a sense of elegance and authority, with polished poses, bold accessories, and sculptural styling.
Solo Activities of the Members
The album comes after the group concluded their Deadline Tour on January 26, 2026. Before that, the group was on a brief hiatus, focusing on their solo work.
Rosé released her album Rosie, Jennie followed with Ruby, Lisa explored a darker persona with Alter Ego, and Jisoo debuted her EP AMORTAGE. Their solo journeys also included major collaborations, such as Rosé’s track “APT.” with Bruno Mars and Jisoo’s collaboration with Zayn on “Eyes Closed.” Jisoo also expanded into acting, appearing in the K-drama Newtopia.
