Wallen’s Earlier Life

Born on May 13, 1993, and raised in Sneedville, Tennessee, the singer grew up surrounded by music. His father introduced him to classic rock mainstays, which influenced his musical taste. As a child, Wallen also took piano and violin lessons. During his teenage years, his influences expanded to include bands like Nickelback and rappers such as Lil Wayne, contributing to his cross-genre appeal.
The country singer gained attention after participating in Season 6 of The Voice in 2015. Though he was eliminated during the playoffs. Following his exit from the show, Wallen signed a deal with Panacea Records and released his debut extended play, Stand Alone, in 2015.
