Chandrababu Naidu at the India Food Manufacturing Summit in Visakhapatnam, signals more than just economic ambition. It represents a roadmap for farm-to-global-market transformation – the one that promises opportunities for farmers, entrepreneurs, and international investors alike.

On 29 August 2025, at the Novotel, The 3rd Edition of the India Food Manufacturing Summit was held at Novotel, Visakhapatnam, under the theme Envisioning a Sustainable Future for India’s F&B Industry. A major Andhra Pradesh food processing policy 4.0 was declared by Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu, Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He addressed the gathering as a Chief Guest, while Shri T.G. Bharat, Honourable Minister for Industries, Commerce and Food Processing, also graced the occasion.
Policy 4.0: Big Ambitions for Investment and Jobs:
The strategic aim – To attract ₹30,000 crore (~USD 3.6 billion) in investments and generate around 300,000 new jobs over the next five years.
Why Does Andhra Pradesh Have A Competitive Edge?
The state already operates nine integrated food parks offering plug-and-play facilities, cold storage, and warehousing. The new policy, offering, a mix of investment subsidies, power-cost incentives, and streamlined single-window clearances is the key to sustainable expansion and growth. Highly targeting value addition and global competitiveness!

The Line-Up:
- 77 MSME-focused food parks (10 to 100 acres)
- 26 larger parks (100 to 1,000 acres) and 175 nano-food parks – one in each legislative constituency
- Four export hubs (500 acres each)
- Animal-feed park via public-private partnership.
- Commodity boards, including for mango, banana, and cashew, are also integral to the strategy.
These initiatives form a broader package of state policies such as Industrial, MSME, Clean Energy, etc. Unveiled in October 2024 under the “Policy 4.0” umbrella, all aimed at driving transformative economic growth between 2024-2029.
