
The golden night of K-pop is finally here, and it couldn’t be more exciting. The stars graced the stage with their jaw-dropping glamour and amazing performances. The Golden Disc Awards celebrated its 40th anniversary on Saturday. The anticipated annual event took place in Taipei, Taiwan, honouring the achievements of K-pop stars.
Fans can watch the live stream via Naver CHZZK, ABEMA, TVBS, Disney+, and PRIZM. The show is set to begin at 6:30 pm KST with the red carpet at 5 pm KST. In honour of the 40th anniversary, three Daesang (Grand Prize) will be awarded this year. This includes Artist of the Year alongside Song of the Year and Album of the Year.
The Line-ups, Presenters, and the Winners

This year, the ceremony hosts were none other than the popular entertainer and TV host, Sung Si Kyung, and beloved K-drama star, Moon Ga-young. The Presenters for the night also include Korean actor Ahn Hyo-seop, Lovely Runner star Byeon Woo-seok, and Hallyu star Song Joong-ki.
This year, the Golden Disc Awards featured a star-studded line-up with 18 K-pop performances. These include fans’ favourites, Stray Kids, Monsta X, Jennie, ATEEZ, ENHYPEN, IVE, LE SSERAFIM, ZEROBASEONE, BOYNEXTDOOR, and many more.

The awards recognised winners across various categories, with notable honours going to BOYNEXTDOOR’s ‘I Love You’ and BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s ‘Toxic Till The End‘ for Best Digital Song. South Korean Boy Band ATEEZ and IVE took home the Best Album. Boy group ARrC and Close Your Eyes are the Golden Choice award winners. Starship Entertainment girl group’s KiiiKiii and won the Next Generation honor with viral hitmakers IVE taking the Cosmopolitan Artist Award.
