The third edition of Bandland has officially been cancelled. The announcement was made through the festival’s Instagram handle. The organisers cited the withdrawal of their headlining act, Muse, who also cancelled several other shows due to unforeseen circumstances. It stands as the primary reason behind the decision.
The event was scheduled to take place on 14 and 15 February 2026, just a month away from the planned dates. In their statement, the organisers explained that they did not want their vision to be affected by delivery compromises when it came to live experiences. They described the cancellations as deeply saddening and expresses disapointment over the situation.
The Instagram post also confirmed that all tickets will be fully refunded, with the process expected to take 8-19 working days.
Artists Scheduled to Perform At Bandland 2026
The 2026 lineup had generated significant excitement among Indian rock fans. International acts included Train, who were set to make their India debut after nearly two decades, despite being widely popular in the country for years. Rock heavyweights Muse were also scheduled to debut and were headlining the festival.
Australian progressive rock band Karnivool were set to return following their four-city India tour in June 2024. These performances were planned at NICE Grounds across both festival days.
Indian acts were also part of the lineup. Mumbai-based band Scribe were making their first appearance at the festival since 2018.
