It is BTS’s most extensive tour ever, setting a new standard for Korean groups. The tour is expected to generate billions of dollars. Billboard projects that the BTS comeback could surpass $1 billion, which includes concerts, albums, streaming, and merchandise. Their previous tour set records, earning $246 million at the global box office.
By utilising the 360-degree stage, the band plans to maximize the stadium capacity. The tickets will be available for the fans from 22 January, an attempt to prioritize the dedicated ARMYs, and two days later, to the general public. South Korea is also expecting a ‘BTS’ effect in April 2026, with fans flowing in from all parts of the world. The concert run is also expected to boost South Korea’s economy.
The group revealed the tour dates after announcing their latest album, which is set for release on March 20, 2026. It will “reflect the thoughts and ideas of each member.” Featuring 14 new tracks, this is their first full-length studio album since 2020’s Map of the Soul: 7. The band also sent handwritten letters to ARMYs around the world, informing them of their return.

India, which was highly expected to be included, did not feature in the released schedule. However, the group has informed that further dates will be announced in Japan, the Middle East, and many more locations. Indian fans are highly anticipating their visit, especially due to HYBE setting up its office in Mumbai. Member Taehyung, known as V, had recently hinted at a possible visit, further raising fans’ expectations. The only official group-related activity remains to be Jungkook’s GOLDEN: The Moments exhibition held in Mumbai.
ARMYs all around the world have been waiting for the return of the global superstars. The band’s last full-group activity was their ‘Yet to Come’ concert in Busan on 15 October 2022, after which each of the members enlisted in the mandatory military service in South Korea. Although they focused on their individual projects, this marks their first large-scale world tour in seven years.
