Famous Korean Superstar of Korean Boy Band BTS , Min Yoongi known by his stage name Suga introduced his pet to the fans. Suga got discharged in June this year, he has kept away from doing a solo Weverse session.
He has only so far been seen in his full group sessions, with his bandmates . So, having Suga come over and do a live alone was a moment to rejoice for the ARMYs.
The fandom wasted no time and joined the Weverse Live session where their K-pop idol was sitting in black attire, wearing glasses.
ARMY is going bonkers over Suga, who is known as a cat amongst ARMYs, being a pet dad.
Suga has always been fond of cats. He also introduced it to the world & revealed the pet’s name as Tang, which translates to ‘Sugar’. Back in 2020, when he said that if he ever got a cat, he wanted to name it Seoltang (Sugar). “I want to raise a cat. Its name will be ‘Seoltang (Sugar).’ Whenever I watch cat videos, I think cats are just so cute.”
He shared Tang’s adoption story from a friend’s stray litter, praised the gentle pet’s love for chin scratches, belly rubs, and endless kneading, and noted how his parents and bandmate Jimin adore him despite Jimin’s cat allergy. Suga also added while ending his Weverse Live that , “Everyone it’s cold, please take care of your health. in the near future, i’ll come back again.”. Suga was last seen when OT7 with Jin, J-Hope, RM, V Jimin and Jungkook joined for a holiday live recently.
Min Yoongi’s did his first solo weverse live after exactly 833 days from Sept. 17, 2023 to now today on Dec. 28, 2025. The live had 3.4M viewers & around 60M likes. The 20-minute stream ended with Yoongi urging fans to stay healthy, promising to return soon.
