The 10th edition of the prestigious Asia Artist Awards (AAA) 2025 took place in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The event celebrated Asia’s finest talents in both music and acting. The celebration spanned two days, with the awards ceremony held on the first night and the 2025 ACON Festa taking place on the second day. ACON Festa is an independent music festival that attracts a large crowd. This year’s lineup included ATEEZ, WOODZ, YENA, KISS OF LIFE, xikers, and many more.
The Asia Artists Awards is one of Asia’s top entertainment awards, recognising achievements in both music and acting. IVE’s Jang Won Young hosted the show for the fifth consecutive year and was joined by actor Lee Jun Ho as co-host. The event brought together many of the biggest names in Asian pop culture.
Stray Kids, IVE and IU Take Home Top Honours
Stray Kids won the most awards, taking home a total of eight. They received two Daesangs (Grand Prize) for Artist of the Year and Album of the Year, showing their strong year of global performances. IVE won six awards, including the Daesang for Song of the Year for ‘Rebel Heart‘. IU won six awards across both music and acting categories, making her the most awarded individual artist of the night. This included the Daesang for Artist of the Year for her remarkable performance in the hit show ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’.
Live Performance, Acting and OST Honours
ATEEZ secured Stage of the Year, reflecting their strong live performances from the past year. The New Wave Actor award went to ATEEZ’s Yunho, recognising his growing prominence as a solo performer. Netflix’s K-pop Demon Hunters bagged two awards. The series won Best OST for ‘Golden,’ and Arden Cho won Best Voice Performance.
Standout Wins at the Asia Artist Awards
Lee Jun Ho won the Actor of the Year (TV) award, while his ‘King the Land’ co-star Lim YoonA was named Actress of the Year. Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung received the Legendary Couple award for their decade-old drama ‘Love in the Moonlight’. He and IU also won Best Couple for ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’, bringing his total to four awards for the night. Kim Yoo Jung won Best Actress of the Year (OTT) for ‘My Demon,’ and Lee Jun Hyuk won Best Actor of the Year. In addition, the event honoured LE SSERAFIM with the Music Icon of the Year award. The event highlighted the passion and talent that shape Asia’s entertainment industry.
